The course focuses on the practical components of providing clinical care in the paediatric and neonatal retrieval setting, inclusive of a 3-day teaching block held at Charles Darwin University, Casuarina Campus. Evidence and theories underpinning the constructs of the paediatric and neonatal care are explored. The impact of the aeromedical environment on patients, procedures and equipment are discussed and practiced with clinical experts.

Participation in the three-day Clinical Residential Workshop, in combination with completion of the pre-readings.

Successful completion of a 500 word reflective practice journal consisting of a summary of key learning experiences and acquisition of knowledge from the Clinical Residential Workshop. Supported by evidence where appropriate.
