The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Teaching Excellence 2022 recognise CDU’s outstanding teachers who have demonstrated excellent leadership through sustained commitment to innovation, delivery of quality teaching and sustained dedication to improve the student experience and learning outcomes for students.
Earning Criteria

Positive impact on student learning, student engagement or the overall student experience: Extent to which the program targets identified needs and directly or indirectly enhances student learning, student engagement and/or the overall student experience of tertiary education.

Recognition from colleagues, the institution, and/or the broader community: Extent to which the program has led to widespread benefits for students, staff, the institution, and/or other institutions, consistent with the purpose of the program.

Creativity, imagination and/or innovation: Innovation or leadership that has influenced and enhanced learning and teaching and/or student experience in traditional learning environments and/or technology-based developments.

Drawn on scholarly literature: Extent to which the program has clear objectives and systematic approaches to coordination, implementation and evaluation.
