Earners of the Professional PR Diploma (taught and assessed at Level 7) have learned how to take a strategic approach to PR to enable them to lead at board level. They will have gained an advanced understanding of professional practice, including PR strategy and planning, content management, media and engagement, measurement and evaluation, and PR leadership. All underpinned by reference to ethics and the code of conduct.

Earning Criteria

To gain the qualification earners will have undergone a minimum of 48 hours tuition, as well as additional self-directed study, to learn about PR strategy and planning, communications and engagement, and the management of projects/campaigns. The three qualification units require earners to have successfully completed an executive report, a thought leadership article and a management proposal as well as a 2000 word statement of reflection for each unit.
