Earning Criteria

Successful completion of 7 distance learning modules including Food and Kitchen Safety, Equipment Identification, Culinary Fundamentals (I & II), Product Knowledge, Purchasing, and Menu Analysis. Completion of a 5-part Term Assignment, and a Trailing Experience. Completion of a 3-day hands on On-Campus Experience including kitchen exercises, discussions, and a written test.

The Culinary Institute of America is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.
