Earning Criteria

Successful completion of 7 distance learning modules including Food and Kitchen Safety, Equipment Identification, Culinary Fundamentals (I & II), Product Knowledge, Purchasing, and Menu Analysis. Completion of a 5-part Term Assignment, and a Trailing Experience. Completion of a 3-day hands on On-Campus Experience including kitchen exercises, discussions, and a written test.
Standards
The Culinary Institute of America is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. As an IACET Accredited Provider, The Culinary Institute of America offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard
