Badge earners have demonstrated proficiency in basic culinary applications, interpersonal skills, and financial aptitude. Earners have also displayed a sense of responsibility and dedication in all facets of their work. In addition to written and verbal examinations, the ProChef Level I Certification exam consists of practical testing of culinary fundamentals including stock, soup, and sauce making; protein, vegetable, and starch cookery; egg cookery, salad and dressing preparation, and plating.
