General Project Management Topics for Leaders

This micro-credential focuses on three important leadership topics. First is Maintaining a Balanced Plan, one of the most potentially frustrating activities in project, program, portfolio, and functional management. Second is the different Product Development Processes used to execute the project plan (i.e., Predictive/Waterfall, Iterative/Incremental, Agile/Adaptive, and Hybrid [a combo]). The third is on project management leadership (responsibilities, competencies, and selection).

Earning Criteria

Register for the Project Management Topics for Leaders course. This registration link will take you directly to the badge's Moodle course where you can self-enroll to begin completing the badge. Click on this link, sign into your Moodle account (if necessary), and click "self-enroll". Then you should receive a welcome message detailing your enrollment into the course.
Work through the following three asynchronous lessons: Maintaining a Balanced Plan, The PDP (Product Development Process), and Project Team Leadership.
Pass multiple, short "knowledge check" quizzes (multiple retries are allowed).
Pass a final exam, which is largely a compilation of 26 quiz questions taken from the four lessons, with a score of 80% or higher.
This micro-credential will be available beginning June 1, 2022.
