This microcredential covers risk management processes for identifying, assessing, responding to, and controlling individual project risks, then applying that knowledge to assess overall project risks (cost and schedule). If well done, we ensure that all our projects are as successful as possible. Tools & techniques are examined, as is the know-how for effectively balancing and re-balancing project plans per risk tolerance guidelines, based on organizational governance to control all projects.

Earning Criteria

Work through the following four asynchronous lessons: Individual Project Risks, Overall Project Risks, Risk Response Strategies, Monitoring & Controlling Risks and Projects.

Pass multiple, short "knowledge check" quizzes (multiple retries are allowed).

Pass a final exam, which is largely a compilation of 26 quiz questions taken from the four lessons, with a score of 80% or higher.
