Earning Criteria

  • Acquire 6+ hours of training AND complete at least 2 of the following annually: (1) Provide resources for students (2) Attend mentoring training once a semester (3) Utilize compacts with students (4) Update compacts annually (5) Encourage your students to complete an IDP (6) Review IDPs with students annually and revise as needed (7) Include emphasis on mentoring excellence in federal/discipline specific grant proposals (8) Develop a mentoring philosophy statement and discuss with students.
