Topics include the constitution and civil liberties; arrest, probable cause, search and seizure, warrants, warrantless search and seizure, consent searches, surveillance, police interrogation, Miranda warnings, confessions, lineups, right to counsel, waiver of counsel, exclusionary rule, good faith exception, privilege against self-incrimination, compelling witness testimony, and compelling production of documents; bail, and right to speedy trial.
Apply knowledge of criminal procedure through a series of exams and written assignments obtaining a 70% or higher on all assessments.
