Fellow Certified Management Accountant (FCMA)
Fellow – entitled to use the designatory letters FCMA: Entitlement to FCMA membership is via both Objective and Subjective Admission. This membership category is by invitation only for persons who have supported the Institute as a qualified financial member for a minimum period of 15 years and/or has demonstrated ongoing professional commitment by participating in the activities of the ICMA Council or their respective Regional Offices.

Earning Criteria

Minimum of 15 years’ work experience in Accounting / Finance or business. Minimum of 5 years’ work experience at a very senior level CFO / COO / CEO of a reputed corporation.

Extraordinary and outstanding contribution to the Accounting Profession with a special emphasis on Management Accounting; and/or Outstanding contribution and service to CMA(ANZ) by way of: - Research, teaching etc., - Organizing events, symposiums etc., - Community service which reflects well on CMA(ANZ), - Any other contribution and service to CMA(ANZ).

Minimum 5 years uninterrupted membership of CMA (ANZ) at the CMA grade. Must maintain FCMA membership in good standing and comply with the CPD requirements with no outstanding complaints or disciplinary proceedings
Standards
The FCMA grade on Membership is available only after a minimum of 5 years uninterrupted membership of at the CMA grade. The CMA has been assessed as equivalent to Level 9 (Masters Degree) under the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF).
