LEAP 1 - Leadership Education in Action 1

LEAP 1 was created to foster the development of effective and visionary administrative leaders. It is designed to promote the development of “agents of institutional change” while providing “big picture” skills and the knowledge required to lead and shape our district and the community college system. LEAP 1 provides individuals who want to be leaders the opportunities to develop a plan to be successful.

Earning Criteria

Special guest speakers present sessions on topics such as leading through change, entrepreneurial leadership, planning, advocacy, developing partnerships, networking, and generating resources. Required Workshops: Learning Outcomes: Through their participation in the in-class sessions and work on a Solution Team project, LEAP 1 graduates will be able to demonstrate their professional growth and increased leadership capabilities.
