The Health Care Facilitator Micro-Credential involves three 3-credit classes: Medical Terminology, Medical Office Procedures, and Computer Applications.

Courses involve online discussion, quizzes, interaction with instructor, and assignments that involve application of assigned material.

Capstone Experience: Students will complete a comprehensive exam that will incorporate a hands-on practicum of the use of the computer platform systems, and students’ ability to manage a set of data related to a hypothetical patient case study. Students scoring 80% or above on the comprehensive exam and will have two opportunities to successfully complete it. Successful completion of the exam provides students with a national certification from the American Medical Certification Association.
