Earning Criteria

• Learner was exposed to a programming education methodology that has evolved over the past 20 years to best jump start a skillset in computer programming. Multiple small projects were created to drill those programming skills over a period of 15 hours of instruction.
• Learner was assessed through five hours of video lectures, two papers on the history application of programming, followed by one applied computer programming project-based assignment, until they reach a required level of fluency in terms of their knowledge of the key concepts. For those transferring for undergraduate level transfer, trainees must obtain a passing rate of 80% or higher. Areas of competency will include: (a) variables (b) conditionals (c) loops (d) functions.
