Earning Criteria

A Learning Journal documenting what you are learning and experiencing as you try, test, and play 10 new games during this course. This is one of the best ways to deepen your knowledge about game design. The journal should include: 10 games, at least 5 of which should be educational games, that the learner is playing for the first time. Evidence of a deepening knowledge of game features and approaches, their benefits and limitations.

A written review, video recording, or podcast that reviews at least 5 existing educational games. The review must: Contain answers to an established list of 8-10 questions. Questions from the list are approved by the instructor You are welcome (even encouraged) to team up with a classmate on this part of the badge, but keep in mind you'll need to review 5 educational games per team member.
