An Introduction to Clinical Facilitation in Aged Care

Earners will have an understanding of clinical facilitation in aged care and the key psychosocial concepts of person-centred care and being solutions focused. They can explain the knowledge, skills and attributes that a student of nursing should have to be competent and safe, and work to their potential during clinical placement. They are able to examine pedagogies in the context of student clinical learning, including role modelling, reflection, cognitive rehearsal and narrative pedagogy.
