This 20 week course was studied in a hybrid manner. The initial 10 week period was completed via online distance learning. After a travel break the final 10 week period was completed on-campus by face to face learning. The educational experience throughout was of live small classes attended daily. These were then followed each day by self paced tasks (homework) that was completed alone or in groups. Individual and group tutorials took place regularly.

The pre-sessional course is assessed by a continual assessment method where students build a portfolio of weekly tasks and milestone assignments which are holistically assessed by the class tutors and reviewed by the Programme Director. This credential is issued to students who have achieved a Pass mark across the assessments.
