'Ideation' in entrepreneurship is part of the Cranfield Enhance co-curricular programme, adding value to the learner's chosen programme of study. 'Ideation' provides basic business skills and knowledge on how to take an idea into a business venture. This includes basic knowledge of customer segmentation, value propositions and stakeholder management.

The 'Ideation' programme provides basic business skills and knowledge about how to take an idea and turn it into a business venture. It includes the opportunity to share and test your own ideas with the support of business professionals, and work closely with mentors to turn problems into real business opportunities. Completing this badge will provide you with basic knowledge of customer segmentation, value propositions, business models, finance and stakeholder management.

The programme requires the demonstration of developing ideas and working with peers and mentors by active participation in at least one of the following three options: Cranfield Start-Up Weekend - Ideation; Colworth Innovation Challenge; or Hult Competition.
