- Analyse the policy tools used by governments and central banks including fiscal, monetary, supply-side, international trade and exchange rate policies.
- Debate the potential for trade-offs with respect to economic objectives and economic management;
- Evaluate the importance of macroeconomic data and economic forecasts of relevance to public and private sector managers;
Earning Criteria

Learners complete activities for each of the skills described. To gain the Bronze badge learners complete all content and then research the key indicators for a national economy. Based on their analysis they submit a report for their organisation's management to help them plan for the economic outlook.
