This Silver module on Organisation Design is the second of three levels, that provide learning up to Masters level. Learners are introduced to the Mintzberg design parameters; review how changing external context might have influenced OD; discuss a number of more contemporary organisation designs, reflect on the relevance of agile approaches to OD in their organisation and consider constructs that are closely related to OD such as Organisation Development and Organisational Effectiveness.

Earning Criteria

Learners complete activities for each of the skills described. To gain the Silver badge learners complete all content and submit a reflection on how the organisational unit they are working in could be designed differently considering the PESTLE factors they have identified and identify at least one opportunity to enhance the outcome of a different design looking at Colin Mayer's Value Creation Theory and its six lenses.
