The Trek Program is a hands-on, multi-week experiential learning program delivered on-line, with a strong emphasis on peer coaching. The Trek Program gives impact-focused researchers a structured methodology to discover and validate the potential real-world impact of their research. It builds researchers’ skills and habits to extend investigator-led, curiosity-driven research into end-user/consumer-led research.

Earning Criteria

Developed and delivered a short presentation on research impact vision and descriptions of potential impact partners, what problems are they looking to solve & why might research collaboration be valuable for them.
Attended more than half of the cohort workshops coaching.
Identification and prioritisation of research collaborators and end-users. Defined critical assumptions that underpin the pathways to translating research to impact.
