Certified Dental Assistant

The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification program is designed for dental assistants who graduated from a CODA-accredited dental assisting program, have at least two years of experience, or hold a dental degree from outside the U.S. Earning CDA certification demonstrates knowledge of dental radiography, dental infection control, and chairside assisting. CDA certification is recognized in many states to earn a dental radiography certificate or perform expanded functions.
