Nuclear Weapons Orientation Course (NWOC) (DNWS-NW110)(v.3)
The course objective is to provide an overview of the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Program including issues and challenges facing the program today. It specifically covers the functional areas of nuclear weapons fundamentals, effects, stockpile issues, safety, security, operational effectiveness, and proliferation concerns. A tour of the classified Nuclear Weapons Instructional Museum is also included. Students cannot receive credit for DTRA-0019 Nuclear Weapons Orientation Course (NWOC-MTT).
