Commissioners are appointed to govern DirectTrust's accreditation and certification body, the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC). Commissioners are stakeholders and consumer representatives from private and public sector organizations including health networks, payers, health information service providers, health information exchanges, and other health technology vendors.

Earning Criteria

In order to serve on the DirectTrust Board of Directors, an individual must be nominated by a colleague, and then elected. Individuals nominated to serve on the Commission are not required to be members of DirectTrust, but must exemplify the expertise, knowledge, and leadership required to serve as a trustworthy resource in support of our mission to drive trust in healthcare and interoperability forward.
