This is an interactive 5-day planning workshop that combines a theoretical and a practical module. Both modules are executed simultaneously using the results of the practical exercises nominated as “Games” to explain operational concepts, best practices, and tools to improve performance. The theoretical part of the workshop will describe and explain basic and advance planning tools, best practices, and how to measure, understand and utilize efficiency and productivity KPIs.

Participants who go through the program will have the opportunity to learn/practice how to: Consider the challenges and opportunities of the terminal as a system Optimize Vessel Planning, Yard Planning, and Equipment DeploymentsUse of Advance Planning Optimization Tools (e.g. Autostow, Prime Route, Expert Decking) Access best practices in terms of Stacking and Operational Strategies Understand the effect in productivity and cost of different planning scenarios and operational decisions.
