Students will experience and learn through guided study and performance in a laboratory and classroom setting. The setting may include the usage of some or all of the following techniques: 2-D, M-Mode and Color Flow imaging. The calculation and interpretation of the findings will be evaluated and demonstrated on the machines. Basic and advanced protocols will be performed throughout the course. Students will learn diagnostic 2-D echocardiographic views and quantitation in the campus laboratory.
