The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, laboratory, practical exercises, lecture, and discussion. The general course topics include medical emergencies, PDR, classification of medication, medical specialties, electrocardiography, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid. The methods of evaluation are quizzes, examinations, performance rubrics (checklists), class participation, and attendance with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.
