The methods of assessment include attendance and examinations with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, classroom exercises, discussions, laboratory, lectures, and practical exercises. The general course topics include basic pharmacology, dosage calculations and medication administration; injections; CPR and emergency procedures; theory of electrocardiography; instrument wrapping, autoclaving and sterile gloving; and Spirometry and patient positioning.
