Major topics covered in this course include the vocabulary, terminology, combining forms, suffixes and prefixes of the human integument, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, blood, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, endocrine, reproductive, nervous and sensory organ systems including the basic anatomy and physiology needed to understand and apply these terms. Methods of instruction include: lecture, practice exercises and practical application. Students are evaluated through tests.
