Earning Criteria

Prerequisites for this course included: Prior experience in learning or using object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.); prior experience with Python; and understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals.

The course consists of one synchronous kick-off meeting and roundtable discussion with industry professionals, three one-week modules (Part 1), and six two-week modules (Part 2).

The curriculum helps learners experience machine learning tools and real-world problem solving with various exercises.

Learners spend about four to six hours per week with the content, and have opportunities to meet Samsung employees, industry leaders and field experts.

As a final project, participants work individually or in groups to create capstone projects to demonstrate cumulative learning and understanding.
