The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) Principles of Small Engine Technology Certification verifies competency in industry-standard equipment and tools needed to begin entry-level careers in the outdoor power equipment industry. The certification validates students have acquired the basic knowledge and skills necessary to troubleshoot, repair, service and maintain 4-stroke small engines. This is an entry-level certification and is for high school students.

The EETC Principles of Small Engine Technology Certification is hosted on the iCEV Testing Platform. The certification exam is a 100-question, randomized assessment.
