Coding Foundations

Issued by Eleven Fifty Academy

The earners of the Coding Foundations Badge will learn several concepts fundamental to constructing web applications. This will include the fundamentals of HTML and CSS as well as the fundamentals of two programming languages: JavaScript and C#. In addition, students will interact with data through APIs.

Earning Criteria

This course will culminate with the introduction to a full stack application with the learned technologies. Students also get the opportunity to achieve a CIW certification in HTML/CSS.
The Foundations course will reinforce problem solving and thinking through logic problems. Students will also interact with git as version control and GitHub as a git hosting service.
