Earners of this badge have successfully completed the requirements of the Prevent Blindness North Carolina (PBNC) Children’s Vision Screening Training & Certification program. Earners will collaborate with the Elon University Nursing Department to undergo essential training & acquire the skills needed to obtain a two-year certification. They will then actively engage in health screenings throughout the county & state, utilizing age-appropriate evidence-based vision screening tools & procedures.
