Critical Race Theory (CRT) is the gold standard for addressing racism post-Civil Rights era. Public Health Critical Race Praxis (PHCRP) adapts CRT for health sciences, providing antiracism concepts for health equity work. This course uses PHCRP to explain its relationship with CRT, introduce key concepts and methods, and differentiate between conventional and critical approaches. Students will practice applying the PHCRP model to design a study or intervention.
