Earners of this badge are familiar with the laws that govern accessibility, UDL and formatting content for accessibility. They can identify the laws requiring accessibility at Emporia State and personnel and departments available to assist with accessibility concerns. The earner can compare Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to basic accommodation and identify and apply strategies to format content using UDL. The earner is also able to locate resources for creating accessible content.
