Recipients of this badge are able to properly plan, execute and manage events of any kind. In order to obtain this badge, the user must create bid proposals, marketing collaterals, an event evaluation tool, and conduct a risk management assessment needed in event planning.

Earning Criteria

Element #1: Bid Proposal. Create a bid proposal that contains an overall design of an event.

Element #2: Marketing Collaterals. Prepare marketing collaterals that are appropriate for promoting an event to capture the right target audience.

Element #3: Risk Management Case Study Analysis. Create a risk assessment to identify possible pitfalls and prepare corresponding contingency plans.

Element #4: Event Evaluation Tool. Create a tool that sets the criteria for evaluating the successful and unsuccessful aspects of an event based on its objectives.

Element #5: Event Research. Produce a research paper on any of the following topics in relation to Events Management: Sustainability, Technology, MICE Tourism, Risk Management, Attendee Behavior and Attitudes.

Element #6: Event Design Project or Research. Demonstrate oral presentation and communication skills by creating a 3-minute video showcasing the project or research output.

Element #7: Grade Requirement. Must receive a grade of 90% or more on all required criteria.
