Achieve an understanding of insurance and risk. Students will learn the basics of insurance. Lessons also include engaging content and activities that relate to real-world application such as the terms to know when purchasing and using auto insurance. As a closure and assessment of the content, students will participate in a simulation that includes deciding what type of insurance to purchase followed by comparing the cost of unexpected life events with and without insurance coverage.
