Introduction to Saturation Diving

Developed by the Institute of Environment, earners have demonstrated fundamental knowledge of saturation diving by recounting the history and evolution of saturation diving and applying it to the FIU Aquarius Reef Base. Students will explain the physics and physiology of saturation diving and relate it to the benefits of using saturation diving for science. Earners will identify diving emergencies and associated remedies and understand the use and benefits of surface supplied diving.
