Earners can understand the benefits and methods of incorporating writing into their courses; create writing assignments, including collaborative projects, respond to student writing, use writing in large-cap vs small-cap classes, and leverage the benefits of multilingualism.

  • Successful completion of assessments where learners demonstrate competencies and skills gained to course-specific best practices.
  • Successful completion of discussions where learners demonstrate understanding of best practices for teaching writing to diverse populations and self-editing.
  • Successful completion of a reflection paper where learners demonstrate how the competencies gained can be utilized to further personal, professional and/or academic goals.
