Virtual Exchange for Arabic Language Learning

Issued by Florida International University (FIU)

Developed by FIU’s Modern Language Department, this badge recognizes students who complete a semester-long virtual exchange. Participants are paired with a language partner abroad, enhancing their Arabic skills through real-world tasks while gaining improved proficiency and cross-cultural competencies. The Virtual Tabadul program is implemented by FIU and supported by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative, a U.S. Department of State program administered by the Aspen Institute.

Earning Criteria

Successful completion of assignments demonstrating Arabic language learning.
