Completed a 50-hour, self-paced IBM Z Xplore program. Passed all relevant assessments to understand z/OS commands, mainframe systems, and computer programming principles.

Completed a comprehensive curriculum in AP Computer Science principles. Topics include algorithms, data analysis, digital information, and online data security.

Learners attended weekly sessions with an IBM Z Subject Matter Expert. The one-hour, once-per-week sessions cover multiple components of the IBM Z Xplore architecture, coding principles, and enterprise concepts that validate coursework and necessary training for the pre-apprenticeship program.

Learners worked with a Professional Success Coach to develop their professional skills in weekly group meetings, with a focus on communications, problem solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

This Pre-Apprenticeship program has been designed to prepare individuals for an IBM Z apprenticeship program. It includes both technical and professional skills components which provide a solid introduction to a rewarding career in IBM Z Mainframe technologies.
