Business Proposal Writing and Management

Recipients of the badge for this course will be able to develop successful, tailored proposal solutions. Using database research, they will be able to identify funding sources including private sector solicitation requests, requests for proposals, federal and state grants, and service contracts. Students will be able to use technical editing skills, storytelling, performance narratives, and capture management plans, and to evaluate organizational eligibility requirements for winning proposals.

Earning Criteria

Complete PUAD 375 (Business and Nonprofit Proposal Management) with a grade of C or better; and COMM 365 (Proposal Writing for Business) with a grade of C or better for one micro-credit. **Participants can also complete COMM 355 (Introduction to Grant Writing for Nonprofits) in conjunction with PUAD 375 to earn an additional micro-credit.
