Earners of this designation have demonstrated basic skills needed for entry-level positions in the biotechnology industry. Earners will have a clear understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP), have mastered good documentation practices (GDP) skills, demonstrated accurate pipetting, correct aseptic technique, and have the knowledge of appropriate gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE) required in different grades of clean rooms.

All outcomes of PRD 131 Biotech Boot Camp must be assessed successfully according to the standards of the Bioscience Core Skills Institute. Upon successful completion of the course students will receive an email from Credly notifying them to claim their badge.
