Graduates of The Florida Certified Public Manager® Program, learn the essential concepts and practices necessary for Transformational Leadership. Graduates complete the robust CPM curriculum consisting of 7 Levels/Topics of 4 experiential learning/training days each (31 full days), on leadership and management in the public sector.

Earning Criteria

Complete 300 contact hours of experiential learning and training.

Submit 14 graded assignments and exams of 1200 words or more.

Complete a viable process improvement project.

Demonstrate project management foundations.

Complete a capstone project involving a governmental policy presentation, complete with a Q&A critique, and feedback.

Create an executive development plan and have participated in a mini conference involving continuing professional growth and an examination of contemporary issues in public management.
Standards
Completion of the CPM program is equivalent to 2 3-credit hour courses at FSU.
FCPM is accredited through the National Consortium of Certified Public Managers.
