An individual who earns this micro credential will understand the basics of automation as it is used in an industrial (manufacturing or similar) environment. Students will be able to identify automation components, such as sensors, actuators, and programmable devices, understand how machines follow sequences and use this in troubleshooting problems, and understand how to use structured troubleshooting and process improvement tools. C or better in each course required to be awarded credential.
