Earners of this designation demonstrated skills equivalent to the top 9-27% of high school graduates in the analyzing and creating text passages, using evidence to understand, analyze and create arguments, and applying knowledge of English language conventions and usage. At this level, students may be waived from placement testing and developmental courses in this subject at the postsecondary level.
