Earning Criteria

  • COURSE: Students participate in a formal course delivered live and supported by videos and reading material.  Students learn about topics including: Brain parts and function; Neuroplasticity; Memory Encoding, Storage and Access; Learning, Emotions and Stress; Study; Sleep; Genetics; Intelligence, Time Management and Wellbeing.
  • JOURNAL: Students are supported by material from a companion workbook. They are required to create an online journal entry for each lesson, where they answer questions, reflect on themes and consider applications of the learning to their life and study. The journal is submitted as part of the microcredential requirements.
  • ASSESSMENT: Students complete an online quiz testing them about their understanding of the content delivered in this program. Students also complete a reflection activity on practical applications of the learning from this course.
