Integrative Curricular Microcredential in Carceral Studies

This interdisciplinary and integrative microcredential provides students with the opportunity to examine the historical, social, political, legal, and economic contexts for understanding policing and mass incarceration, as well as the relationship between prisons, policing and racism. Through the completion of an integrative and applied learning experience, students will explore how to confront and respond to the injustices inherent in policing and mass incarceration.
