This badge acknowledges the individual’s commitment made to their continuing professional development. Earners participated in 24 hours of online training and engaged with supporting online learning resources. Earners have joined with others in building a network of climate change and water practitioners, and contributed to network knowledge through participation in a virtual conference, where they share their own experience in projects addressing climate change and water challenges.

Earning Criteria

Earners have provided evidence of attendance, participation, and progression through the 12 Modules that were individually tailored and context-specific for practitioners, policy makers, decision markers, students, utility directors and employees of water associations.

Each Module has an associated MS Sway page where participants are required to interact with the material on the page. The MS Sway page houses online learning material: including pre and post-workshop activities to complete related each module topic. Each module includes videos and/or podcasts that the participants are required to interact with, self-reflective activities, at least 2-3 readings to review.

Earners are asked to complete self-reflective activities at the end of the topic. The activity can be a multiple-choice question bank, reflection questions; a mini-case study is provided, and a series of questions posed that are then submitted to the topic leader.

Earners attend twice-weekly two-hour online workshops where content from the MS Sway page is discussed and reflected upon
