Earners have taken a critical look at forces that have shaped welfare and health policies for Australia's First Peoples. Earners have a clearer understanding of the identities, histories, experiences and needs of First peoples. Earners can critically analyse societal constructs, policies and practices that impact First peoples’ social justice and human rights outcomes in Australia and apply an anti-colonial practice framework for working alongside the peoples of First Nations of Australia.

Earners have established a sound basis for understanding colonisation, the phases of colonisation in Australia and specific policy measures through which ongoing colonisation is expressed.

Earners have identified the ideologies through which social justice and injustice for First Nations' Peoples have been constructed and rationalised.

Earners have examined contemporary theoretical and socio-political debates for ways of re-thinking the possibilities for First Nations' Peoples' social justice.
