Earners have theoretical and practical foundational knowledge on the LGBTQIA+ population’s history, unique health concerns, and risks, and to develop communication skills that avoid discrimination and provide safe, sensitive, respectful, and appropriate healthcare. Learners will be competent to lead a cultural shift that respects and supports LGBTQIA+ patients and colleagues to improve patient outcomes. This micro-credential is suitable for health and social care professionals and students.

Earners have completed the online training (5 hours) which includes videos, scenarios/simulations and interactive activities

Earners have achieved at least 80% in the multiple-choice question quiz which consists of 20 questions
